We are each on a journey to live life to the fullest – to realize long-held ambitions, to manifest our dreams and to be present in each daily experience. We are also each faced with challenges along the path, and sometimes, our difficulties hinder our ability to move forward and live out the vision we create for ourselves. Sometimes, our biggest barriers are health-related, or have simply to do with how to nourish our bodies and our families by what we put on the table. If this resonates with you, I want to help.
My big dream is to empower you to eat well, feel confident in the kitchen and to finally be able to live out your own amazing purpose. I firmly believe that the food we put into our bodies, which becomes part and parcel of our physical self, is the foundation to health and healing. I’ve seen this principle at work in my own life and in the lives of my clients. Food is medicine, not just for the body, but for our whole being. What we eat matters, how we eat matters, and many of us have not been taught how to nourish ourselves and our families in the most basic way. Let’s change that together.
What I do:
I hold a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. As a clinician in Maryland and Pennsylvania, I worked with clients with a variety of concerns including food allergies/intolerances, gastrointestinal disorders, blood sugar regulation issues, and women’s health concerns including pre-conception and pre-natal care. I am currently Adjunct Faculty at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, teaching academic nutrition courses and cooking labs. I love to teach and I love to cook, and I love to teach others how to cook. As a working mom, I know what it’s like to want to put great food on the table, to nourish my family and myself, and to be restricted by both time and finances. I’m here to tell you that it can be done!
